What we offer

Custom made for your celebration

Every couple is different, so every wedding is different. We work with you to create the perfect program. Here are some of the things we offer.

Grand entrance

Dancers lead the bride and groom into the reception with music, color and energy. A beautiful way to open the night.

Dance performance

A short show of classical or regional Persian dance, in costume. We can do one or two performances in an evening, timed around dinner, speeches and cake.

Getting guests dancing

After the performance, we bring family and friends onto the floor and lead simple steps so everyone, of every age, can join in.

A typical package starts at $1,550

That’s three dancers performing within 45 minutes of Berkeley, CA. The price goes up or down with the number of dancers, live music, travel and the length of the program, so we’ll put together a quote that fits what you want. Celebrating farther away? We travel often.

About us

The dancers of Ballet Afsaneh

We are the dancers of Ballet Afsaneh, a San Francisco Bay Area dance company that brings the dance, music and poetry of Iran and the Silk Road to the stage.

Alongside our concerts and festivals, we have danced at hundreds of weddings, from intimate henna nights to grand receptions. We have performed at venues from San Francisco City Hall to Grace Cathedral, and we bring the same artistry and care to every celebration.

We often travel for performances and have danced at weddings in New York, Los Angeles and many other cities.
